My hair has a little more grey this morning following lastnight’s basketball game. We were playing Duke at Duke, which is always a really tough game. Our guys played their hearts out – and took the game literally down to the last seconds – but the last shot hung on the rim and then fell the wrong way. Still, an astonishingly good game and we are very proud of our Deacs.
Spring Break is right around the corner…and so are Zipcars! I received some info from our Office of Sustainability on Zipcar promotions coming up. Here goes:
If your Deac doesn’t have a car, there is a terrific opportunity to join the Zipcar program. Students can join for $15, and get $15 in free driving with code JOINSPRING2019 at zipcar.com/universities
And if your Deac is already a Zipcar member, they can get $15 in free driving with code ZIPSPRING2019 at zipcar.com/gift
Here’s some info from the Office of Sustainability about Zipcar:
Wake Forest offers a car-sharing program as an alternative to bringing your own car to campus. Zipcars are an affordable option that are available by the hour or by the day. During the academic year, cars are parked on campus near the first-year residence halls, between Kitchin and Poteat Halls, and by Polo Hall. They are available 24-hours-a-day; rates include gas and insurance. For more information or to join the network, visit www.zipcar.com/wfu.
While our colors are Old Gold and Black, it’s always good to be Green!
