This week is just about in the books. Was in Farrell around 2 pm and to my surprise the place was still pretty full with students – most of whom looked like they were studying in small groups, working on projects, and the like. Bonus to them that they are finishing this week strong by getting their work done in the daylight hours!

If your Deacs were hoping for fall, I regret to inform you that it is still plenty hot – feels like the low 90s – but next week we look like we might get some rain and some slightly cooler temps.

Looking ahead to the weekend…coming up tonight, men’s soccer takes on NC State. This should be a great match and hope lots of students come out for it. This weekend’s movie is Ocean’s 8. Tomorrow we have the football home opener vs Towson, women’s volleyball, and a mind reader performance – those are always fun.

Leaving you with a few of the best pics from our wonderful Ken Bennett, and the reminder that Fridays are a great time to call your Deacs 🙂
