As unlikely as this is, it is snowing this morning. I have lived in North Carolina basically since I started school at Wake in the late 80s, and I am not sure I’ve ever seen it snow in March. This. Is. Bonkers. And my condolences to our Deac families in the Northeast who are facing yet another noreaster. May you all be safe and your snow melt quickly!

Aside from the snow – which I find decidedly uncool – there is something that’s actually pretty cool happening.  Check out the Human Library info below.

Wake Downtown

The Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University and the C.G. O’Kelly Library at Winston Salem State University are teaming up to lead a Human Library event at Wake Downtown!

We received a “Rethinking Community” grant from the University that will allow us to shuttle students from both campuses to Wake Downtown for the event where we will have numerous Human Library “books” for checkout and great food from local establishments!

Want to reserve a book in advance? Review the book descriptions below and register for the event here.

For more information, see the event details on Facebook or contact Hu Womack.
