Snow Day!
Today is a snow day – classes are canceled due to the weather conditions. In reality we got maybe 2-3″ but the roads are very slick. I heard from two friends who were out and about lastnight that driving was treacherous, so urge your Deacs to stay off the streets.
The Pit opened at 9 am today and the Sundry in Benson was set to open at 11 am.
It is supposed to be below freezing all day, with a chance of freezing rain and sleet through the early evening. Stay tuned to the Wake Alert web site, or look at the top of the WFU web site or Parents’ Page for a banner with weather annoucements (if there are any).
For now, check out the Quad Cam and see if you can spot your Deacs playing in the snow!
