At the beginning of each semester, it’s time to recalibrate and get one’s academic and social schedules straightened out and in good order.  Wake Forest has so many opportunities for engagement and fun, and today I want to highlight one of Student Union’s offerings – Tuesday Trivia.

Held each Tuesday at 8 pm in Shorty’s in the Benson Center, Tuesday Trivia gives students a chance to show off their knowledge with a little healthy competition.  Whether your student goes to participate or just observe, it’s a chance to have fun, take a break from studying and homework, and possibly win some prizes.  And of course, there’s bragging rights for the winners!  This might be an especially appealing option for first-year students and sophomores, who might still be looking to find their niche on campus.

And for upperclassmen who have been coming to Tuesday Trivia for years, now we have Turning Point Clickers for teams to submit their answers.  I think Lucas Swenson (’15) , one of the organizers of Tuesday Trivia, said it best:  “We’re excited for Trivia to go electronic! Everyone loves clickers!”

Encourage your student to come out and join the fun!
