It’s Camp Season

Summer session is progressing steadily.  And this week we welcomed in a new crop of students – most of them 13 and under, via Wake Forest summer camps.  Walking across campus yesterday, I saw tons of students on Poteat Field for soccer camp, and there was a group of younger kids in swim camp yesterday morning, followed by all-sports camp in the afternoon.

This morning there as a slew of coolers and equipment in the parking lot by Poteat Field, supplies for camp today no doubt.  It’s going to be a hotter day today – projected forecast of 90 degrees, with 92 tomorrow, and plentiful sun.  These kids are going to need all this water and gatorade.
