Summer is here, and there is no doubt about it.  It’s been hot – high 80s for a couple of days this week – and with the threat of summer thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.

A lot of action taking place on campus.  Summer school just started, so our students are settling in. They have broken ground on Farrell Hall, which will house our undergraduate and graduate schools of business.  It will be located northeast of Wait Chapel (sort of  near the V of the road that comes in from Polo and circles around campus.  A lot of existing trees have been removed and they are tearing up some of the existing concrete in the roads and nearby parking lots.  You can see the construction map here.  While our construction team will work diligently over the summer, we will have those roads reopened in time for freshmen to move in.
