Parents’ Council Show Humanitate Challenge
The Parents’ Council Challenge aims to increase both donor numbers and dollar support for the 2020-21 Parents’ Campaign of the Wake Forest Fund. This support allows Wake Forest to meet ongoing needs as well as unprecedented challenges, such as the COVID-19 crisis, with innovation, agility, and the critical resources necessary to operate a world-class institution.
The purpose of the Challenge is simple: to encourage Wake Forest parents to make an increased or first-time gift. We would love to see record numbers of new parent donors this year to ensure that our students – and the students who follow them – continue to have an exceptional Wake Forest experience regardless of what circumstances the future may hold. Members of the Parents’ Council have pledged $850,000 that will be added to the Parents’ Campaign total when we reach our goal of 1,500 new or increased Parents’ Campaign donors by June 30, 2021. Parents’ Council members have decided to “dig a little deeper” as we all considered our giving this year, and we ask you to join us in rising to this challenge. Another of the Challenge’s goals is to increase participation from parents of young alumni. All first-time gifts made by a former parent count toward the Challenge. So for parents of the Class of 2020, for example, your gift of any amount will help meet the Challenge!
