For families of sophomores, juniors, and seniors, here are a handful of campus offices and resources that might be of special interest to you.
Our Office of Career and Professional Development provides a year-by-year list of activities that students should be thinking about and/or doing. Urge your Deacs to connect with the OPCD as early as possible so they can take advantage of all the resources available in the OPCD.
The Undergraduate Business School provides information about the various business majors and the application process.
The Pre-Professional Advising website discusses the recommended courses for students interested in careers in health or allied health, applying to the undergraduate business school, or students considering law or graduate school.
One of the most important ways parents and families can help their students in college is by encouraging them to solve their own problems. Please bookmark or print out this Stop, Drop, and Roll flyer so you have it when your student contacts you with a problem. Also, the flyer lists contact information for urgent and serious concerns where family intervention might be appropriate.
The Office of Family Engagement provides information and support to Wake Forest parents, guardians, grandparents, and family members. The office maintains the Family Engagement Page of the Wake Forest website, which is the primary vehicle of communication with families, as well as our Facebook and Twitter presence.
