The Office of Residence Life and Housing has shared the following information about programming available for students staying on campus during Thanksgiving break.
Residence Life and Housing is sponsoring, “Wakesgiving” next Wednesday, November 21st from noon-2pm in Bostwick Hall for all residents who will be staying on campus over Thanksgiving break. This will be a relaxing way to unwind a bit and connect with other students who are also on campus. We will have Thanksgiving-themed crafts from your elementary school glory days, games, and food. We will also have a group that meets to go on a turkey trot jog around campus/Reynolda trail If you’re interested in joining us, please RSVP to your GHD by Monday, November 19th so that we can order lunch for you! If you have any questions, please contact Ashley Jones (email@example.com)

One of the best ways parents/families can help their students is to let them solve their own problems. Use the Stop, Drop, and Roll method when your student contacts you with a problem. The flyer also lists contact information for serious concerns where family intervention might be appropriate.
Select slide shows from Orientation sessions are available online.
