A funeral service will be held in Shreveport, Louisiana, on June 15 for Michael Montoya, a graduate student who died June 7 in Winston-Salem.  Services will begin at 1 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Chapel at The Cathedral of St. John Berchmanns.   Memorials may be made in Michael’s memory to the Austin Street Shelter in Dallas, www.austinstreet.org/donate_form.html.

If a campus memorial service is scheduled, an email will be sent to faculty, staff and students.  The Office of the Chaplain is discussing a possible campus service with Michael’s family.

Michael was a student in the Master of Arts program in mathematics.  He received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics in 2011 at Wake Forest.
