Attention Engaged Students!  The Institute for Public Engagement is launching the exciting new Public Engagement Fellows Program and invites you to an information session on Friday November 30 at 3.30 p.m. in Reynolda Hall Room 301.  Tea and dessert will be served!

The Public Engagement Fellows Program is geared toward empowering students wanting to pursue careers and/or degrees in public service, public policy and public administration to meet their own set of academic, personal and professional goals through integrated academic learning and relevant public engagement experiences.

Twenty-five Public Engagement Fellows will be selected for 2012-13 academic year. Decisions will be announced beginning January 15, 2013. For more information and the Application see their website.

If Your Student Has a Problem

One of the best ways parents/families can help their students is to let them solve their own problems. Use the Stop, Drop, and Roll method when your student contacts you with a problem.  The flyer also lists contact information for serious concerns where family intervention might be appropriate.
