As part of ongoing renovations to Athletics and Campus Recreation facilities, the Miller Fitness Center will stop operating on Wednesday, May 3 at 8 p.m. That space will be converted to a sports medicine facility for the Department of Athletics.

Until a new campus fitness center opens before the fall semester, Campus Recreation has the following arrangements in place:

–A limited amount of cardio equipment will be available to campus community members on the fourth floor of the Sutton Center starting Friday, May 5.

–Group fitness classes will continue in the Miller Center’s group exercise studios on the building’s fourth floor.

–Locker rooms and showers will also continue to be available on the fourth floor of the Miller Center, as well as on the lower level of the Benson University Center.

Phase Two of the Reynolds Gym transformation and renovation is scheduled to be completed prior to the start of the fall 2017 semester.  The opening of Phase Two will include almost 19,000 square feet of brand new, state-of-the-art cardio and weight equipment.
