The Winston-Salem Police Department has arrested a man in connection with the Sept. 9 armed robbery of Wake Forest male students at a Long Drive house, near Wake Forest.  The man was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.  He was identified as Logan Scott Meredith Koch of Tobaccoville.

According to Winston-Salem police, authorities continue their efforts to identify and apprehend the second suspect sought in the robbery.  That suspect is described by Winston-Salem police as a black male, approximately 5’ 7” in height, weighing approximately 160 pounds.  The suspect is further described as having extensive tattooing on his arms, short hair and a dark complexion.  Several firearms were seized as a result of the investigation.

The University announced to students, faculty and staff on Sept. 9 that students were robbed at the off-campus Long Drive residence.  The students told police that two armed men forced their way into their house and robbed them.

The University has taken several steps to respond to the incident, including directly offering assistance and resources to the affected students.
