Another travel day for me, and looking forward to meeting all the new Wake Foresters at the Larchmont New Student Reception this evening.  It’s always a terrific event and I am really excited.

To me it is always fascinating when you find unexpected Wake Forest connections in places.  So in today’s edition of Where in the World Are Wake Foresters? we have Libby Mohn (’20) of Illinois, and Matt Jacobs (’18) of Massachusetts.  I’m told from Matt’s mom (’81, P’18) that Matt and Libby’s families are on vacation in Old Mission, Michigan and their cabins are right next door to each other.  How delightful to know that you can share this beautiful view of Lake Michigan with other Deacs!

We also have a second Where in the World Are Wake Foresters? – this time combining two of my greatest loves, France (I did my study abroad in Dijon with Wake) and dogs!  This is Emma Ienzer (’20) at her home in France, with a very spirited WFU pup.

Keep wearing that Wake gear with pride, especially on Black and Gold Fridays!  And if you want to send a pic of you or your Deacs in your Wake attire for the Where in the World Are Wake Foresters feature, please email to parents@wfu.edu.  And keep these pics of Deac dogs coming!Emma Ienzer '20 and her pup in the Riviera, where they live
