I’m out of the office for a couple of days, so will be pre-posting some content. We’ve had our first submissions in our call for photos of Wake Foresters sporting their WFU apparel, and am proud to share them below.
Here’s a photo of two ’17 grads as they take a break from hiking the Appalachian Trail. Barrett Redmond is on the left wearing her WFU Outdoor Pursuits ball-cap and Daniel Nelli is on the right. I am told by Barrett’s dad that she is “thru-hiking” the Appalachian Trail this summer, while Daniel and little brother Gray are keeping her company for portions of the trail.
As a reminder, let us see you in your Deac glory! Whether that is on vacation, doing a service/volunteer event, or just hanging out at a favorite spot in your hometown, we’d love to see where Wake Foresters are wearing WFU gear. You can email pics to email@example.com. Please specify if you want to have your name used (or Deac Mom, or P’20, etc.) and if the picture includes your student, please let me know whether you have gotten your student’s permission to publish his/her/their picture on the blog.
The Office of Family Engagement provides information and support to Wake Forest parents, guardians, grandparents, and family members. The office maintains the Family Engagement Page of the Wake Forest website, which is the primary vehicle of communication with families, as well as our Facebook and Twitter presence.
