I would expect within the next few days, they will start work on getting the Quad ready for Commencement. If you are a fan of the Quad Cam, you may want to keep it open in one of your browser tabs or bookmark it and check in every now and again.
We have a new stage setup this year, so I am not familiar with the timeline of the construction/assembly of it and when that will begin. But I can say from past years that the Quad preparations run like clockwork and the precision that gets used in measuring out the lines for aisles and rows of seats is incredible. There is nothing haphazard about it, and if you’re the type who likes to watch the behind-the-scenes machinations, check out the Quad Cam.
Everything is crazy at the end of the semester as all our offices get ready for Commencement, and prepare for the launch of the New Students web site for the Class of 2019. We may go light on Daily Deacs in the next week, but we’ll bring you as much news as we can. Happy Black and Gold Friday and hope you wore your best WFU colors wherever you are.
