You’ve heard it!  There are eight sides to this story!  Thrive – Wake Forest’s comprehensive wellbeing initiative – is launching Dimensions by the Month (DBM) to encourage your wellbeing in 8 dimensions:

Beginning this month, Thrive will highlight two dimensions of wellbeing each month.  Join us throughout the semester, along with campus partners like the Professional Development Center and the Office of Professional and Career Development, for workshops, awareness activities and contests!  DBM will raise awareness of the various dimensions of wellbeing and connect us all to the wealth of resources available at Wake Forest and throughout the Winston-Salem community.

Thrive is invested in the TOTAL YOU.  Many people think of wellbeing solely in terms of their physical health.   However, our comprehensive wellbeing approach is concerned with whether or not you are creating a life that is conducive to reaching your highest potential.  Are you living your best life?  Is there harmony between the different parts of your life?  Do the places and spaces where you spend time make it possible for you to Thrive?  Can you navigate the ups, downs, twists, and turns that life brings?  Is your sense of purpose clear?  Are you meaningfully engaged with others?

Where are you in your journey of wellbeing?  What do you need to continue the journey?  Visit our Events page for more information on upcoming Dimensions by the Month activities.  Also, follow us on Instagram and Twitter and like us on Facebook.
