I Get By With a Little Help from My Friends
Deac families, we’ve got an opportunity you may wish to share with your students, compliments of the Learning Assistance Center. The LAC provides individual peer tutoring services to students for many of the Basic and Divisional requirement classes, and also assists students who need accommodations in their classes, residence halls, etc. LAC is a tremendous resource.
One of the great things they are doing this year for the benefit of all students is to offer a workshop series called “Study Smarter, Not Harder”. The next event in this series is tomorrow night, October 16. It will cover smartphone applications that students can use for studying, time management, and balancing their lives.
The “Study Smarter, Not Harder” workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 from 5:00-6:00 pm in the ZSR Library Auditorium, Room 404.
Your students have nothing to lose and everything to gain by learning better study strategies and tools that might make their lives at Wake Forest (and beyond) easier. Please pass this on if you think it will benefit your Deac.
