If you spend any time at all on our campus, you have the opportunity to witness some pretty terrific views, practically everywhere you turn.  There are trees (which are just starting to begin turning into their blaze of fall glory), flowers, architecture, walking paths, formal gardens (in Reynolda Gardens) and so much more.

And sometimes if you are in the right place at the right time, you can see something that is fleeting and wonderful and memorable.  One of our Daily Deac readers sent in just that sort of picture.  Her first-year student, Ashley Laughlin (’17), was on the Quad and her friend Sydney Feinglass (’17) saw Wait Chapel reflected in Ashley’s sunglasses and snapped this photo.

Caught just at the right moment.

Ashley comes from Reno, NV – as she said “not one of the usual spots for WFU students” – and Sydney is from Charlotte, NC.  Both young ladies gave their permission for the Daily Deac to use their photo and their names.  Thanks, ladies, for helping show all the other Daily Deac readers this unique view of Wait Chapel.
