As many of you will see when you arrive for Family Weekend this weekend, there is a major construction project underway. It’s Farrell Hall, the new site for our Schools of Business. When completed (in June 2013) it will be 134,000 square feet of state of the art space designed specifically for business education.
And if you are really interested in following Farrell Hall’s progress, there is a construction webcam that’s now live. I have to confess that I love a good webcam, so I’ll probably bookmark it (even though construction is taking place right outside my building). Deac families, we invite you to bookmark the Farrell Hall webcam too and stay in touch with the building during every stage of its completion.
More info on the Farrell Hall project is available via the Wake Forest magazine, who wrote a wonderful article about Mr. and Mrs. Farrell and their generous gift.
The Office of Family Engagement provides information and support to Wake Forest parents, guardians, grandparents, and family members. The office maintains the Family Engagement Page of the Wake Forest website, which is the primary vehicle of communication with families, as well as our Facebook and Twitter presence.
