It’s a busy day on campus as Commencement approaches.  The tent has been up for a few days now and the stage was constructed yesterday.  Today it’s raining, but during the week the Quad has been mowed every day or two in preparation for the 10,000 chairs that are getting ready to be delivered.  Parking lots are going to be closed this Friday at 5 pm so they can be available for Commencement.

Students (undergraduate) can pick up their tickets at the College Bookstore on Friday, May 13 or Saturday, May 14 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Students and/or parents need to bring their IDs with them to claim their tickets.

It’s getting so close now.

As for the weather forecast – everyone asks about that, and to be honest we’re still too far out to be able to state unequivocally what we think it will do.  So far this week, it’s shown everything from 60% chance of rain on Monday to 30%.  Here is the link to the weather, but just know that until we get to Saturday, a lot of things can – and often do – change.
